- Contact me: pamelatittle @gmail.com The idea for the Valley Art Project started over a year ago. I wanted to draw a landscape every week for 52 weeks. By keeping the scenes local and of the area, I hope to shine a light on the beauty right here at home. The goal is to show the extraordinary scenery you can find in your own backyard. Through colored pencils, acrylic and watercolor, I aim to capture light, shadow, texture, and a sense of timelessness. I know a piece is done when looking at it, I feel what first inspired me to draw it. When others see my work, I hope they're filled with the same sense of wonder and excitement for the Shenandoah Valley. I hope this will inspire others to experience the countryside. After starting this, I have seen so many creative artists online. The medium might be oils, acrylic or even crafts. Their Blogs have so inspired me. Thanks to all the creative people out there who share their stories and work. I can't forget the food blogs. Thanks to all!

I adore snow scenes.. and this is perfect! Love the subdued, quiet colors... works so well with this scene.

Thank you!! I started out with pen and ink then used some colored pencils (mostly muted shades of gray and blue).
